Thermengast-Offensive summer 2018
The number of visitors to the spa is to be increased - also, and in this case especially in the summer months. For this purpose, a Thermen-Tagesgast-Offensive should be started, which appeals to both locals and holiday guests of the Ötztal region.
An attractive offer was put together especially for the summer: Starting from 25 degrees outside temperature in Längenfeld in the months July and August each hot spring visitor receives 25% discount on the daily map. Saint Elmo's Tourism Marketing implemented location-based marketing using mobile Dynamic Weather Ads in order to play out the offer with high relevance for the user. Through the combination of geo-targeting on a postcode basis, language-based targeting (German or non-German-speaking) and weather targeting, customers could be addressed in an extremely targeted manner.
Depending on the weather conditions in Längenfeld (from 25°C | below 25°C) different mobile advertising media were used. Two language versions were also created: one in German and one in English (for holiday guests in the selected areas). At the end of the campaign, the goals can be achieved with very good figures.
About the customer
The AQUA DOME Tirol Therme Längenfeld and the four-star superior hotel are located in the middle of the Tyrolean Ötztal valley.
